Housing Development in Progress

The Detroit Cultivator Community Land Trust (DCCLT) is proud to launch Phase One of its transformative housing development.

This initial phase will deliver six high-quality residential units designed to support long-term affordability for North End residents. These homes reflect our community-centered vision, blending both for-sale and for-rent options tailored to meet diverse household needs.

    • Total Units: 6

    • Total Building Size: 4,248 square feet

    • Building Types: One Duplex and one Quadplex

    • Affordability Targets: 60% and 80% of Area Median Income (AMI)

  • For-Sale Homes (2 Units)

    • Unit Type: 3-Bedroom

    • Size: 964 square feet each

    • Affordability: Targeted at 80% AMI

    Rental Homes (4 Units)

    • Unit Type: 1-Bedroom

    • Size: 580 square feet each

    • Affordability: Targeted at 60% AMI

  • Phase One features two thoughtfully designed buildings:

    • A Duplex, containing one 1-bedroom rental unit and one 3-bedroom for-sale home.

    • A Quadplex, consisting of four 1-bedroom rental units.

    These structures are part of our broader mission to create permanently affordable housing rooted in community ownership and stewardship.
